Ideas for group holiday breaks in Europe

PART 1: Group Travel Checklist

PART 2: Group Holiday Ideas…

So you've decided to book a group holiday.  Whether you are booking a ski trip or a weekend away, a stag/hen break or a corporate retreat, it can be daunting deciding on a destination to suit everyone.

Here at Activity Breaks we can help you plan the best trip for your group.  Just let us know your dates, budget, and any requirements and we can put some suggestions together for you.  Here are just some activities that we can organise for you:

Get Active

Whether you want to try something adrenaline-packed like white water rafting or canyoning, or something on dry land like a cycling tour, paint-balling or clay pigeon shooting, we can arrange a group activity to suit your requirements.

Food tour

Be it a tapas tour in Spain, or wine tasting in Italy, food tours are a great group activity, and a fun way to see your city/destination of choice.  Why not try something different and take a pasta making lesson?

iPad challenge

This is a very fun activity that you can do in almost any European city.  The group gets divided into teams and had a number of puzzles and challenges to complete in a certain amount of time, questions and challenges can also be personalised for your group.  Great fun and also possible for large groups.

Sports events

Our sport events packages, such as the Formula One Grand Prix European stages, and the Six Nations rugby fixtures, can handle large group requests ensuring you all stay in the same hotel and have tickets near each other.

Concert break

If sport is not your thing, why not see your favourite artist or band live in concert in a European city?  We offer everything from pop and rock to classical and opera - take a look at our Andrea Bocelli concert packages.

In December 2018 we sent a corporate group of 30 people to Malaga for the weekend for their Christmas party.  They had a full day starting with a cycling tour of the city in the morning, followed by a tapas and wine-tasting tour with guide, then an iPad challenge, and ended their day with dinner and flamenco show and on to a nightclub.

Not all groups have the budget for such a packed weekend, but everything can be tailor-made for your needs and budget.

We are here to help and ensure that your group booking goes as smoothly as possible.  We can organise airport transfers, accommodation, meals and activities so all you have to do is organise flights (see below for useful information on how to book flights for groups).
