This break offers excellent half board accommodation close to the slopes of the Andalo ski area at a great price. The resort of Andalo is a little gem in the heart of the Dolomites, with spectacular scenery, an attractive town centre and 50km of slopes ideal for beginners and intermediates. It is fairly easy to reach, just 1.5 hours from Verona airport, or just over 2 hours from Milan Bergamo, and the flyskishuttle service from both airports is a quick and affordable way of getting there

Andalo

Andalo (1,040m) is a small resort nestled in the Italian Dolomites, just 40 mins from the pretty city of Trento, and 90 mins from Verona.

The Altopiano della Paganella ski area offering 50km of pristine slopes from 1050m to 2125m,with 17 lifts and 23 pistes, ideal for beginners and intermediates.

For snowboarders there is a decent snowpark with an area for beginners and one for experts.

Younger guests can enjoy three play areas (2 outdoor, one indoor) and even an igloo shaped library located on the slopes!

Après ski

There are a wide range of other activities on offer, from ice karting, to horse drawn sleigh rides, snowshoe excursions, and indoor ice skating. There are a few pubs and bars dotted around, but the nightlife is fairly low key.

The family run Hotel Abete Bianco*** opened in 2008 and is located just 200m from the Andalo ski area and the town centre.

Its light, modern, comfortable rooms come complete with balcony, TV, free WiFi access, safe, hairdryer and bathroom with shower. Extra beds are available, just contact us for a family quote.

The hotel is in fact great for families as it offers a children's play room for children aged 4 -12 including a ball park and giant lego, as well as entertainment.

The hotel restaurant offers excellent regional and Mediterranean dishes, as well as a wide range of gluten free options.

Other airports: Milano Bergamo, Venice Marco Polo, both around 2.5 hours

By Car:

Take the A22/E45 towards Trento, take the Trento Nord exit and follow the SS421 towards Molveno

By Public Transport:

The cheapest and easiest way of getting there is the direct shuttle from Milan Linate once a day, and Milan Bergamo and Verona airports twice a day on Saturday and Sunday, see www.flyskishuttle.com for details.

Alternatively take a bus to Verona Porta Nuova train station, from there take a train to Mezzocorona, then a bus from there to Andalo
