Getting There

Enjoy trekking through the Valley of The Seven Lakes and on Mount Triglav. By virtue of its unique beauty, the Valley could be called the heart of the National Park. The raised Valley is reached by a climb up from the Koča pri Savici hut in Bohinj via the steep incline of Komarca. From here, our mountain path takes us to Dolic hut where we spend the night. The next day, we climb Triglav and descend to Kredarica hut - on the edge of the northern Triglav wall. The mountain meteorological station is situated here. From here-on, the path leads us to green pastures of Pokljuka plateau and Bled

Bled

Set along the glacial lake of the same name, the town of Bled is a resort town at the bottom of the Julian Alps. Bled Castle overlooks the lake from its steep cliff-edge and is one of the most popular tourist sites in the country. Dating back to the 11th century, the castle is the oldest in Slovenia and has plenty to see and experience inside its walls!

The city is famous for its cream cakes but in recent years has seen a huge influx of top chefs setting up gourmet restaurants throughout Bled.

While July is the wettest month in Bled, it is also the warmest. Winter is drier but temperatures can plummet below freezing point.
