Milan

Milan is a city in the north of Italy. It is the second most populated city in the country, with several cultural institutions, museums and galleries, some of which are highly famous worldwide, such as the city's Duomo and Piazza. Most tourists visit sights such as Milan Cathedral, the Castello Sforzesco and the Teatro alla Scala.

When visiting the city of Milan for your concert and hotel package, step into the city’s lifestyle, experience the shopping, football, opera, and nightlife. Milan is regarded as one of the fashion capitals of the world and so the city is host to an array of fabulous shops!

Milan trains are reliable and reasonably priced. The main railway station in Milan is the Stazione Centrale, Piazza Duca d'Aosta, which has high-speed links to other major cities in Italy including Bologna, Venice, Genoa, Turin, Florence and Rome.

Buses leave approximately every 20 minutes for Centrale Station and Linate airport, costing about €7.50 (€15 for a return ticket). Travel can take from 40 minutes (weekends) to 1 hour or more (during weekday mornings). There is always a bus waiting, and they usually wait until the bus is completely full before departing.

Trams run above-ground on railway lines running through the streets. Being above ground means you get a view of what you're passing, so if you don't need to go far, they're convenient and fun. There is also a restaurant tram and a party tram with disco music. Many tram stops have electronic information panels with indications on how many minutes to wait before the next available service.
