Dublin

Dublin is a special place where tradition and cultural heritage have merged seamlessly over the centuries to create an atmosphere that simply cannot be found anywhere else in Europe, or beyond.

Dublin is renowned worldwide as a city of writers and literature, home to such literary giants as James Joyce, Oscar Wilde and George Bernard Shaw. With museums from the James Joyce Centre to the Leprechaun Museum there's something for all interests and ages to soak up the Irish culture.

There are lots of different ways to explore Dublin, but many prefer to tour the city on foot, sampling the sights, sounds, and tastes of the city as they go during their short break here. The city is often bustling during the day but still manages to feel friendly and warm to all visitors.

One thing that you won't be short of in Dublin during your city break is entertainment! Our city breaks include a night of Irish dance and entertainment in a local hotel so you can say you've experienced all that you'd typically associate with Ireland.

4* North Star Hotel

North Star Hotel Dublin offers a perfect location for tourists wanting to explore the sights that the city has to offer during a short break. Even mentioned in James Joyce's literary work 'Ulysses', the North Star has been recently refurbished but maintains the natural elegance it is known for.

McGettigan's Cookhouse and Bar is located on-site, with a special meal offer each night of the week! When the weather allows, there is also a beer garden to enjoy with satellite TV showing live sport action. There is also a breakfast room which serves both Continental and hot Irish buffet breakfasts. A gym is also available to all guests.
