Dubrovnik is an old city on the Adriatic Sea coast in the south of Croatia, and is one of the most prominent tourist resorts of the Mediterranean. The city of Dubrovnik was built on maritime trade, today it is one of Croatia's most popular tourist destinations, boasting spectacular churches, monasteries, museums, and fountains.
Stradun, Placa Main stone paved street of the city, centre of the action Stradun is a popular street where most of the locals go.
The City Walls: Dubrovnik is completely surrounded with walls and forts, including the Old Port. One of the most outstanding features of Dubrovnik, and one of the first things you should do when visiting the city, is walk along the imposing two kilometre 10th Century wall, built to protect the citizens of the town. The walk takes about an hour.
Franciscian Monastery: Old Town Inside is the Pharmacy dating from the 14th century (the oldest in Europe) and a gorgeous cloister.
Sponza Palace: Old Town Originally built as customs house in 1516. Now it functions as the State Archive. On the ground floor is the Museum of the Dubrovnik defenders.
Rector Palace: Old Town Built in the 15th century for Dubrovnik’s ruler, the elected Rector, now a museum.
Cathedral: Old Town This Baroque Cathedral was built in the 18th century, after an earthquake destroyed the original. Inside there is a Treasury with lot of interesting exhibits. St. Blaise church, Old Town Dedicated to Dubrovnik’s patron saint.

Lokrum Island The island is a 15 minute boat ride from the Old Town City harbor. As well as many peaceful coves Lokrum also boasts a Botanical Garden and, keeping with the monastic theme, a Benedictine Monastery.
Take the cable car The new cable car takes 4 minutes to get to an altitude of 405 metres, and once at the top, panoramic views of the old town and the surrounding walls of Dubrovnik can be seen. The view is breath-taking, and although the ride is a little scary at first, it is worth it at the top!

Day 1 Arrival
Arrive at Dubrovnik airport, harbour or bus station. A representative will meet you and give you the details of your transfer to Sipan island, your base for the duration of your stay. Enjoy the afternoon exploring, swimming and sunbathing.
Day 2 Elaphiti islands kayaking and paddleboarding
A fantastic location for sea kayaking. Paddle out of Luka Sipanska in the morning and head west towards Jakljan, Tajan and Olipa islands. All three are uninhabited and their beaches can only be accessed from a small boat or kayak, resulting in a number of secluded beaches and excellent snorkelling opportunities.
Meal: breakfast; Sea kayaking 2-3 hours (easy)
Day 3 Cycling Sipan island
Explore the island by bike. Two villages, Luka Sipanska and Sudjuradj, are connected by a road with very little traffic, which is ideal for cycling. Visit a local hilltop farm with picturesque olive groves and the most beautiful view of the island.
Meal: breakfast; Cycling 2 hours (easy/moderate)
Day 4 Lopud island hiking
Lopud has many beautiful walking routes that take you from sea to the top of the island and back. This island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and a fort strategically located at one of its highest points. In the past it served as an observation point and was used to protect the island’s safety. Prepare yourself for stunning views of the Elaphiti Archipelago and Mljet Island.
Meals: breakfast and dinner; Hiking 2 hours (easy); Ferry 15 mins each way
Day 5 Optional trip day/Beach day.
Relax on the beach, visit Dubrovnik on your own or join one of the optional excursions.
Day 6 Sightseeing in Dubrovnik
Visit the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. Take an optional boat ride to Lokrum, the “cursed island” near Dubrovnik with its Benedictine monastery, botanical garden, small lake popularly known as the “Dead Sea” and Fort Royal
Meal: breakfast; Sightseeing 3-5 hours; Ferry 1 hour each way
Day 7 Kolocep island sea kayaking and sunset sailing
Head out to Kolocep Island. The island’s cliffs, caves, coves and beaches, accessible only from the sea, make it Croatia’s best sea kayaking island. Snorkeling gear will be provided. In the afternoon, a catamaran will take you on a sunset sailing trip around the area, you may even spot some dolphins! Return to Sipanska Luka in the evening for a farewell dinner

Day 8 Departure
Transfer to Dubrovnik hotel, bus station, harbour or airport.
This itinerary and the duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather conditions and forecasts, water levels, special events of interest, etc. Our travel partner's guides and trip leaders will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk which could be caused by exceptional situations and they reserve the right to alter the itinerary without prior notice.
Packing List: swimwear, sun hat with brim, t-shirts (at least 1 synthetic), hiking shorts (synthetic), lightweight casual clothing, lightweight rain jacket, lightweight hiking shoes and water shoes for kayaking, water bottle or hydration pack, sunglasses, sunblock and lip balm, personal first aid kit, small back- pack, camera (waterproof)!
Arrivals are recommended by 3 pm. Transfers for arrivals by 6 pm are included, but you may miss group dinner and orientation. Arrivals after 6 pm may be subject to surcharge for transfers or overnight on land. Departure transfers are for flights after 10am. Earlier departures can be accommodated, but are subject to surcharge.
Optional trips on Day 5 are not included in the price but these can be booked/paid on arrival. Costing approx €60 - €85 pp
3* guest house on Sipan Island
You will be staying in the charming fishing village of Luka Sipanska on Sipan Island, less than one hour by ferry from Dubrovnik harbour. Rooms are simply furnished with an ensuite bathroom.
