Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival
Arrive at Dubrovnik airport, harbour or bus station. A representative will meet you and give you the details of your transfer to Lopud island. The transfer is organized either by a local ferry that runs four times a day or by speedboat. Settle into your accommodation before meeting your guide and the rest of the group over dinner.

Day 2 Safety instructions, introduction to kayaking and the equipment. Sea kayaking to Sipan island, hiking or cycling.
Safety instructions will take place in Lopud Bay in the morning. Get the feel of your kayak and practice paddling before embarking on the first journey – kayaking to Sipan island. Chance to explore the island on foot or by bike, there will be plenty of time to relax as well. Kayak back to Lopud late in the afternoon.

Day 3 Kayaking Lopud-Sunj, hiking back to Lopud village.
Paddle half way around Lopud to its sandy Sunj beach. Explore the island's coastline as you slowly paddle to one of the most popular beaches in the area. After lunch on the beach, feel free to chill out. Walk back to Lopud.

Day 4 Kayaking Sunj-Kolocep-Sunj.
After breakfast walk back to Sunj beach and prepare to kayak around the best sea kayaking island in Croatia – Kolocep. Explore caves and coves, snorkeling gear will also be provided. With occasional swimming and snorkeling stops, head to Skerac. Late in the afternoon kayak back to Lopud's Sunj beach.

Day 5 Optional trip day/Beach day.
Relax on the beach, visit Dubrovnik on your own or join one of the optional excursions.

Day 6 Sunset Kayaking Sunj-Lopud
Enjoy a later start today as you hike back to Sunj Beach and spend the early afternoon having lunch and doing beach activities, followed by kayaking at sunset.

Day 7 Kayaking Lopud-Trsteno-Lopud.
The last kayaking trip destination is Trsteno village and the arboretum. We will kayak to the beach by the arboretum which you can choose to visit on your own. Return to Lopud in the late afternoon for a farewell dinner.

Day 8 Departure.
Transfer to Dubrovnik hotel, bus station, harbour or airport.

This itinerary and the duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather conditions and forecasts, water levels, special events of interest, etc. Our travel partner's guides and trip leaders will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. Restrictions

Arrivals are recommended by 3 pm. Transfers for arrivals by 6 pm are included, but you may miss group dinner and orientation. Arrivals after 6 pm may be subject to surcharge for transfers or overnight on land. Departure transfers are for flights after 10am. Earlier departures can be accommodated, but are subject to surcharge.

Extras/Upgrades

Optional trips on Day 5 are not included in the price but these can be booked/paid on arrival. Costing approx €60 - €85 pp

Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is an old city on the Adriatic Sea coast in the south of Croatia, and is one of the most prominent tourist resorts of the Mediterranean. The city of Dubrovnik was built on maritime trade, today it is one of Croatia's most popular tourist destinations, boasting spectacular churches, monasteries, museums, and fountains.

Stradun, Placa Main stone paved street of the city, centre of the action Stradun is a popular street where most of the locals go.

The City Walls: Dubrovnik is completely surrounded with walls and forts, including the Old Port. One of the most outstanding features of Dubrovnik, and one of the first things you should do when visiting the city, is walk along the imposing two kilometre 10th Century wall, built to protect the citizens of the town. The walk takes about an hour.

Franciscian Monastery: Old Town Inside is the Pharmacy dating from the 14th century (the oldest in Europe) and a gorgeous cloister.

Sponza Palace: Old Town Originally built as customs house in 1516. Now it functions as the State Archive. On the ground floor is the Museum of the Dubrovnik defenders.

Rector Palace: Old Town Built in the 15th century for Dubrovnik’s ruler, the elected Rector, now a museum.

Cathedral: Old Town This Baroque Cathedral was built in the 18th century, after an earthquake destroyed the original. Inside there is a Treasury with lot of interesting exhibits. St. Blaise church, Old Town Dedicated to Dubrovnik’s patron saint.

Lokrum Island The island is a 15 minute boat ride from the Old Town City harbor. As well as many peaceful coves Lokrum also boasts a Botanical Garden and, keeping with the monastic theme, a Benedictine Monastery.

Take the cable car The new cable car takes 4 minutes to get to an altitude of 405 metres, and once at the top, panoramic views of the old town and the surrounding walls of Dubrovnik can be seen. The view is breath-taking, and although the ride is a little scary at first, it is worth it at the top!

3* guest house on Lopud Island

You will be staying on Lopud Island, less than one hour by ferry from Dubrovnik harbor, in the small town of the same name with three hotels, several restaurants and cafes, 2 sandy beaches, no cars and great sunsets. You will stay in simple but clean and pleasant rooms in traditional stone houses close to the sea. There is a possibility that you will be sharing a bathroom.

Rooms in 3* and 4* hotel are available on request, with a surcharge depending on type of hotel/room and season.

Self-catering apartments are also available.
