Getting There

Folgarida is a small resort attached to a big ski area; the Dolomiti di Brenta ski area pass offers 150km of slopes on your doorstep, including the resorts of Folgarida/Marilleva, Pinzolo and chic Madonna di Campiglio - staying here you can enjoy the same slopes at a lower cost. Your hotel enjoys an enviable position on the side of a gentle blue run, meaning that anyone (with the obvious exception of complete beginners) can put their skis on and head down to the gondola station that takes you up the mountain. After skiing children can enjoy the kid's club while adults unwind in the sauna

Folgarida (1,300m) is located close to Madonna di Campiglio in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. The Folgarida-Marilleva ski area alone offers a respectable 62km of pistes, and when you include the nearby linked areas of Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, the ‘Ski Area Dolomiti di Brenta’ offers an impressive 150km of skiing right on your doorstep.

Beginner and lower intermediate skiers have some unthreatening blue runs to get their confidence up, while more advanced skiers will enjoy the mileage, as well as the black slope that runs down to the village.

Night skiing is held weekly and there are two snowparks in Folgarida-Marilleva.

Après ski

Folgarida offers great skiing but is far more low key than neighbouring Madonna di Campiglio, and nightlife is limited; however those looking for a fun night out need only hop in a taxi and head 10 minutes up the road to Madonna where there are a number of chic bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Other activities include outdoor ice skating in Folgarida itself, and husky dog sledding in Madonna di Campiglio.
