These select weeks have been designed to give mountain bikers the time of their life and experience the best routes Livigno has to offer all in one packed week, alongside other like-minded people. Your guide will accompany you on 5 different excursions - 4 whole days in and around Livigno and 1 half day in the Mottolino bike park, with an extra day at leisure to do what you like. A good level of physical fitness and prior off road experience are essential as you will be riding as part of a small group and need to be able to keep up!

Day Two: Valle delle Mine Val Tort (whole day) 43km; elevation gain 925m; elevation loss 1827m
Day Three: Bernina Col d’Anzana (whole day) 30km; elevation gain 670m; elevation loss 3111m
Day Four: Carosello Highlander tour (whole day) 30km; elevation gain 410m; elevation loss 1696m
Day Five: Stelvio Trail (whole day) 43km; elevation gain 1147m; elevation loss 2034m
Day Six: Bike-park (half day)

Livigno is located at an altitude of 1816m in the heart of the Italian Alps just a few kilometres from the Swiss border. The resort is incredibly popular in the winter with skiers, and is increasingly popular with mountain bikers in the summer, thanks to its excellent bike park, numerous fantastic trails around its surrounding picturesque valleys and high profile mtb events held in the summer.

Don't forget that Livigno is a VAT free zone; there are a number of shops selling designer clothes, electronic equipment, perfume and other duty free goods so take advantage of the savings while you are there.

There are a number of alternative activities for all tastes and ages including larix adventure park, dog sledding, horse riding, wine tasting and day trips to St Moritz or the thermal baths in nearby Bormio.

Livigno has a lively nightlife scene, with lots of good restaurants and fun bars and pubs.

Hotel Parè

Located in a quiet setting on the outskirts of the Teola woods, this hotel has wonderful views over the Livigno Valley, and is a 15 minute walk from the town centre, with a nearby bus stop. It offers a swimming pool, sauna and a large panoramic sun terrace where you can relax after a day on your bike.

Recognised as a bike hotel, the Parè offers all the facilities you could possibly need during your stay, from a secure bike deposit, to a space for maintenance and cleaning as well as a free laundry service for sportswear.

The recently renovated comfortable rooms are decorated in Alpine style, complete with telephone, LCD TV, safe, hairdryer and free WiFi access. Some have a balcony. Bathroom with bath or shower.

Nearest Airport: Milan Bergamo (Orio Al Serio) – 180km / 4 hours

Other airports: Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Innsbruck

By Car

Exit Orio al serio, follow signs for Lovere, then Edolo-Passo del Tonale. At Edolo, turn left at the crossroads and continue on to Aprica then Tirano via the Aprica Pass and follow signs to Bormio, then Livigno via the Foscagno pass.

Alternatively take the road alongside Lake Como following signs to Lecco, then to Colico, Sondrio, Tirano, Bormio, Livigno. This route is straighter than the first and there are no winding mountain passes.

By Public Transport

You can either take a bus direct from the airport to Livigno with Livignoexpress.com, or take a bus to Bergamo train station then the train to Tirano (changing at Lecco), then take a bus to Livigno via Bormio with busperego.com.

By Private Transfer
