Poreč is a small town resting on the West coast of Croatia. With a town layout that still matches its ancient Roman structure, there is plenty of culture and history to soak up in the town. The Euphrasian Basilica is a sight not to be missed. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dates back to 533AD and so offers many unique photo opportunities for travelers to take in its history.
The region also provides spectacular natural beauty with the River Mirna, and its cycle paths allowing you take it all in on a relaxed ride through the landscapes.
While the summer sees hot temperatures which can reach 28°C, it remains moderate throughout the year. However, the region does see reasonable amounts of rain, so be sure to pack a raincoat just in case!
