Prague

The capital of the Czech Republic, Prague is famous for its stunning buildings. This historic architecture plays a key part in the city’s World Heritage Site status. Key features of Prague to be seen on any city break include the picturesque St. Vitus Cathedral with its towering gothic design; the oldest working Astronomical Clock in the world, located in Old Town Square; and bustling Wencelas Square.

However, while Prague greatest charm may be its beautiful architecture, the city is still a modern European metropolis. With a popular jazz scene, the nightlife is a stark contrast to the classic scenes of the town centre. Furthermore, the Prague Symphony Orchestra may be found performing at Municipal House for an additional piece of Czech culture.

Prague is also easy to navigate with metro, tram and bus services used by a majority of locals to travel around the city, making it easy to take in all the sights during your short break here. While the Czech Republic weather is often unpredictable, late spring-early autumn provides greatest chance of sun and comfortable temperatures to enjoy the sights the city has to offer. At Christmas time, visitors may be keen to experience Prague’s wonderful markets which appear towards the end of November right through to the New Year.

3* Hotel Kavalir

With a tram station just a minutes' walk away, the Hotel Kavalir is a great location for travellers wanting to explore all that historic Prague has to offer.

Each of the 50 standard double rooms features a queen size bed, satellite LCD TV, desk and chair, en-suite bathroom and free Wi-Fi connection. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the on-site restaurant. There is also a car park underground available for guests.

Nearest Airport: Václav Havel Airport Prague (approx. 20mins)
Other airports: Pardubice Airport (approx. 1hr20mins)

By Car
Leave the airport and head onto the D7. Continue onto Pražský okruh towards Praha-Řepy. Turn right onto Slánská. After 1.5km, turn left onto Plzeňská where the Hotel Kavalir will be on the right-hand side.

By Public Transport
Approx. 50mins – Take the 191 from Terminal 1 towards Na Knížecí. Alight after 40mins at Nad Klamovkou, where the hotel will be around 750m away.

By Private Transfer
