Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival & Northern Lights mystery
On arrival at to Keflavik airport transfer by the airport Express to your hotel in the centre of Reykjavik.
Accommodation at the Center Hotel Arnarhvoll or similar (4 nights)
Join your tour on a dark winter night to experience one of nature's most spectacular displays as the Northern Lights dance across the sky in dramatic shapes and colours. Situated directly under the "Auroral Oval", Iceland is one of the best places on the planet to see these mysterious lights. Viewing conditions depend on many factors including geography, weather, time of day and more. Crisp cold evenings with clear skies are good indicators of auroral activity. With over 10years experience, your tour guides will do their best to decide where to head out on each trip for best chances of viewings.

Day 02: Greater area Reykjavik sightseeing
This tour will start at the presidential residence at Besastaoir and on to Hafnarfjordour where "hidden people" and humans live in harmony. At certain times of year you may even stumble upon the Viking festival in nearby fishing harbour. After seeing the spectacular view from the top floor of Perlan restaurant, you;ll go on to the sight of the 1986 summit between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev. The bus will also travel through Laugardalur - a major centre for sport and recreation including a botanical garden and small zoo.

Day 03: Golden Circle
Heading east to Mosfellsheidi heath to overlook the high temperature geothermal areas of Nesjavellir and Lake Thingvallavatn. You continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Thingvellir National Park. You will also get the chance to walk up close to Gullfoss waterfall with its glacial melt water. You'll also take in the Geysir geothermal area, erupting Strokkur hot spring and Icelandic Horse Park.

Day 04: The Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most popular attractions, a natural geothermal pool in the middle of a large and dramatic lava field and an oasis that owes its existence to a nearby geothermal power plant, looming large over the aqua tinted waters. We stop for a refreshing bath or a swim in the inviting, rejuvenating and pleasantly warm mineral-rich water (37°C-39°C/98-102°F), reputed for its healing properties. An indoor pool and geothermal sauna are also on site. Bathing in this surreal environment is a unique experience no one should miss. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients like mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life. (Bathing fee not included and to be paid on the spot)
Return back to the hotel and rest of your time at leisure.

Day 05: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel before you depart by the airport shuttle bus to Keflavik airport for your departure flight home.
