Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival day - Korana village
Arrive in the tiny village of Korana. After settling into your accommodation meet with other group members.

Day 2: Visit Plitvice Lakes National Park - Walking
Explore the Plitvice Lakes on foot. A panoramic boat and train ride will take you back to the start.

Day 3: Plitvice Lakes National Park - Cycling
Cycle through the countryside and enjoy the fantastic views. Afterwards eat a picnic lunch and take some time to relax outdoors. Bike back to Korana village in the afternoon.

Day 4: Zrmanja River - Kayaking
This kayaking trip is an expedition down the magnificent Wild West-like canyons of the Zrmanja River in Velebit Nature Park. Perfectly clear and green waters, rapids and waterfalls, hidden swimming pools and steep-sided canyons will steal your heart and make this excursion an unforgettable experience

Day 5: Optional trip day
Optional trip day. Optional trips are not included in price and can be booked and paid on spot, approximately 40 – 70 € per person, payable on site, and dependent on suitable weather conditions.

Day 6: Una River - Rafting
The Una river is a natural border between Croatia and Bosnia; water levels are high even in the summer so rafting is possible all year round.

Day 7: Mreznica River Canyon - Kayaking and stand up paddleboarding
Return to the upper Mreznica canyon. Kayak through a gorge so narrow and deep that the sun enters for only a few hours each day, around noon, creating spectacular light effects. Paddling past cliffs of carved white rocks, lush vegetation and cascading waterfalls, arrive at a strong freshwater spring. Continue to the second highest waterfall on the Mreznica (8m), a magical place ideal for swimming and a picnic. After a break, continue to the end of the kayaking trip. Depending on the water levels continue by Stand Up Paddleboard on the Mreznica or Korana River. Afterwards you will have some free time to visit Rastoke Village and its beautiful waterfalls. Return to the village for a farewell dinner.

Day 8. Departure
Depart Korana village for the airport and flight home.

This itinerary and the duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather conditions and forecasts, water levels, special events of interest, etc.
