Itinerary

Kayaking at Pula (30 mins drive from accommodation)
Start: 8.30am Finish: 12.30pm
A fantastic guided sea kayaking excursion along the coastline stopping off at caves and idyllic beaches that can be reached only by sea. Stop off for some snorkeling and then head back to the start point.
What to bring: swimming costume, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, bottle of water, flip flops/beach shoes. Optional: towel, snack and dry clothes.

Coasteering at Pula (30 mins drive from accommodation)
Start: 9.30am Finish: around 1.30pm
A fun morning of scrambling over sea cliffs, jumping/diving (max. height 10m, not obligatory) and ziplining. Hemet, harness, lifejacket, water and snacks provided. A shorter version without zipline is also available.
What to bring: swimming costume, sunscreen, towel, sturdy trainers that can get wet.

Dry canyoning at Tuerredda (20 mins drive from accommodation)
Start: 9.30am Finish: around 12.30pm
In the summer when the stream all but dries up, this canyon can still be explored by hiking and abseiling. After 20 minutes of hiking uphill you reach the start of the descent into the granite canyon, the longest tract of which is 30m.
What to bring/wear: Long trousers, sturdy trainers, sunscreen/sunglasses, towel

Canyoning (90 mins drive from accommodation)
Start: 9.30am Finish: around 1.30pm
A longer day due to the drive, but definitely worth it. This excursion takes you inland to explore the Rio Zairi gorge. An easy canyoning trip ideal for beginners, it starts with a small 6m slope and continues along the riverbed between waterfalls and fun slides. Other, more challenging canyoning excursions are available - contact us before booking.
What to bring: swimming costume, sunscreen, towel, sturdy trainers that can get wet.

Sunset boat trip with aperitivo from Teulada Marina (15 mins drive from accommodation)
Start: Around 6-7pm
Unwind on this special boat trip one evening to watch the sun set while sipping prosecco.

Located on the south coast of Sardinia, the Baia delle Ginestre is a world away from the famously chic resorts around the Costa Smeralda on the north of the island.

Here you won’t find the international jet set, just endless kms of long sandy beaches, rocky coves and some fantastic sunsets. Also, the price of a coffee and an ice cream won’t cost the earth.

The beaches of Piscinnì, Tuerredda, Su Giudeu, Porto Pino and Cala Cipolla are all between 3 and 15 kms from the resort, ideal for exploring the area by e-bike before flopping down on the beach for the afternoon.

Other nearby attractions include the Grotte dei Zuddas caves filled with stalactites and stalagmites around 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel, and the Roman amphitheatre at Nora Pula around 45 minutes’ away.

If you'd like to try even more watersports during your stay, kitesurfing, windsurfing and windfoil lessons are also available at Cala Cipolla.

Nightlife in the area around the accommodation is basically non-existent, ideal for those looking to relax and get away from it all, not so much if you like to go out of an evening. The nearest town with a few bars and restaurants is Pula, around 30 mins' drive away on the road towards Cagliari.

Baia delle Ginestre Eco Village***

The resort enjoys a magnificent location overlooking the coast on the very south of the island, just an hour’s drive from Cagliari airport. Nestled in a secluded position among myrtle and oleander trees, the nearest town is 10km away so you can really switch off, relax and enjoy the views of the Mediterranean.

The basic apartments are rather dated, but the new management has brought improvements and they make a good base for exploring the area.

One-bedroom apartments sleep from to 2 to 4 people, bedroom with double or twin beds, bathroom with shower, living area with corner kitchen complete with two electric hobs and fridge, single sofa bed and foldaway bed. TV, air conditioning, hairdryer. There is also a veranda/garden accessible from the living area.

Larger two-bedroom apartments are available on request.

If you don’t feel like cooking there is an on-site pizzeria with panoramic terrace.

The spa offers a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, and massages are available.

There is also an open-air swimming pool with sun loungers and a five-a-side football pitch.

Nearest Airport: Cagliari; 70km, around 1 hour by car

By Car:

Take E25 and follow Strada Statale 195 Sulcitana to just past Eden Roc. Turn left onto Viale Chia/SP71 and follow the road until you see sign for the resort on your left.

By Public Transport:

**Please note that while it is possible to reach the resort by public transport, due to the remoteness of the resort and the distance to each activity car hire is strongly recommended.**

Take the train from the airport to Cagliari city centre (just 7 mins), from there take a direct bus to Teulada (just under 2 hours), the nearest town to the resort 10km away. From there you will need to take a taxi.

By Private Transfer:

Taxi available outside airport. Private transfer available on request after main booking.
