Itinerary

Day One:
Arrival, check-in and bike fitting

Day Two: The Rocca di Manerba - 8km on foot, 10km by bike
Get your trainers on as this morning you will hike up to the Rocca di Manerba, a nature reserve where you can find the ruins of a medieval castle and enjoy fabulous panoramic views over the lake. Head back down and enjoy a stroll by the shore. Free time for lunch then hop on your bikes for a short ride to a local organic winery where you will taste three local wines.

Day Three: Desenzano - 49km by bike
A full day on your bike today, as you head out onto the gently undulating hillside that frames the lake. Pass quaint villages and castles until you reach Moniga, where you can see the small castle before heading up to the lovely town of Lonato. Here you will get off the saddle for a short guided tour of the Casa del Podestà, a beautifully restored historic building with a collection over 50,000 books and manuscripts. Get back on your bike and head down into the lakeside town of Desenzano for lunch and a wander around the old town. Afterwards it's back on your bike to return to the hotel, enjoying the fantastic views of the lake on one side and hills on the other.

Day Four: Isola del Garda and Salò - 27 km by bike
This morning check out of your room (you can leave your luggage at reception) and head out through the countryside before a fun descent down to the lakeside town of Salò. Here you will take a short boat ride to the Isola del Garda, a small island on the lake home to a grand villa and its impressive gardens. Back in Salò you will have some free time for lunch and to explore, before heading back to the hotel following the panoramic lakeside route. Back at the hotel it's time to say goodbye to your guide and other members of your group as the tour comes to an end.

There are many shows and events organized during the summer, including open air concerts, street markets and festivals, as well as the prestigious Prim’ Olio event, a festival dedicated to the local extra virgin olive oil.

It is also possible to visit local vineyards and lemon groves in the area.
