The 2017 6 Nations saw England retain the championship, despite being denied a second Grand Slam in as many years by a triumphant Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on the final day. While France finished their campaign with a last gasp win over Wales who slipped to fifth in the final standings, Scotland defeated Italy in Edinburgh.
While international rugby fans can survive the rest of the year with the Lions tour of New Zealand and the Autumn Internationals, the northern hemisphere’s biggest competition, the Six Nations, returns next February. There's always something that little bit different about supporting your rugby team at their away fixtures - your support is more crucial than ever far away from home and it also allows you to enjoy a little city break at the same time. With stadiums based in the capital cities, Six Nations breaks let you see some of Europe's most popular tourist attractions at the same time as soaking up the atmosphere of the rugby match itself - which might make it a lot easier to convince your other half to join you on the Six Nations packages.
