Baia delle Ginestre Eco Village This low-key, laid back resort enjoys a magnificent clifftop location on the very south of the island with sweeping views of the Mediterranean, just an hour’s drive from Cagliari airport. Nestled in a secluded position among myrtle and oleander trees, the Eco Village is 10km from the nearest town, an excuse (if you needed one) to relax and recharge your batteries. The basic one-bedroom apartments have air-conditioning and sleep 2 to 4 people, complete with double/twin bedroom, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, living area with single sofa bed and foldaway bed, small corner kitchen with electric hob and fridge. There is also a veranda accessible from the living area. Larger two-bedroom apartments sleeping up to 6 are available on request. WiFi internet access is available in the restaurant and the work/study room near the swimming pool. Please note that it does not extend to the apartments – ideal for anyone looking to avoid screens for a few days! If you don’t feel like cooking there is a good on-site restaurant/pizzeria with panoramic terrace offering traditional Sardinian cuisine and wood-fired pizza. There is a large open-air swimming pool with sunloungers and a spa with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Massages and other treatments are available on request. The resort’s two pebble beaches are within easy walking distance of the apartments. One is equipped with sunloungers and beach umbrellas for resort guests. E-bike rental available. Free on-site parking available, no reservation required.
