We had an absolutely fantastic time. I have been snowboarding several times and my friend had never been. We both agreed that everything went so smoothly that we would happily return again. We both had looked at least once over the weekend for flights so we could pick a date to return. Carlo, in particular who drove the taxi for us, needs to get special mention. So informative, pleasant and was always available to collect or drop us to the slopes. The hotel was great, location was perfect and the spa was also a nice treat. They even accommodated us for the extra few hours on our final day. Presolana is a lovely village/town, apres ski a bit quiet but we put this down to time of the season. Monte Pora on our final day was practically empty and we had plenty of space on the slopes. Two small issues, no size 13 boots for snowboarding, was given a size 11 which made the few days on the slopes pretty uncomfortable for me and no jacuzzi at the hotel spa. Please note though that these were very minor negatives on an otherwise perfect weekend. Finally thanks to both you and Simona for organising the trip and if I had my way I would’ve happily stayed another 2 weeks.
Many of our ski hotels in Bormio, Madonna di Campiglio and across the Alps offer genuine ski-in ski-out or near-slope access, though the exact distance to the lifts varies by property and resort. If slope access is a priority for you, let us know and we'll point you towards the closest options available.
We can include skipasses and equipment hire as part of your package, or arrange them locally on arrival, depending on the resort and what suits you best. Just let us know what you need, boots, skis, snowboard or helmet, and we'll build it into your quote so it's all sorted before you travel.
Yes, we work with qualified local ski schools across our resorts and can arrange lessons for complete beginners right through to more advanced skiers, in group or private formats. Whether it's your child's first time on skis or you fancy brushing up your technique, tell us your level and we'll organise it.
Airport transfers can be included depending on the resort and package you choose, since some mountain destinations are a fair drive from the nearest airport. Let us know your flight details when booking and we'll confirm the best transfer option, whether that's a private transfer, shared shuttle or self-drive route.
Snow conditions vary by altitude, aspect and season across every Alpine and Nordic destination we work with, from Bormio and Aprica to Austria, Norway and Slovenia. Higher, glacier-linked resorts tend to have longer, more reliable seasons. Tell us when you're hoping to travel and we'll suggest resorts with a strong track record for that period.
Many of our ski destinations are great for families, with gentle nursery slopes, childcare options and ski schools geared towards young beginners. Facilities vary by resort, so tell us the ages of your children and we'll recommend a resort and hotel set up to make the whole week easy and fun for everyone.
Card payments are handled by Nexi, one of Europe's largest regulated payment providers, over an encrypted connection and protected by 3-D Secure (the extra verification step from your own bank). Your card details are entered on Nexi's secure page and are never seen or stored on our website. Bank transfer is also available if you prefer — just ask us.
All our prices are shown and charged in euros (€), because that is the currency our European hotels and partners invoice us in. If your card is issued in pounds or another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate on the day, so the final figure on your statement may differ slightly from the euro price shown. Showing euros keeps the price honest — you pay exactly what the holiday costs, with no hidden mark-up from us.
It depends on the package and how close the departure date is. Many holidays can be secured with a deposit, with the balance due before travel, while some event tickets and last-minute bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. The exact terms for your holiday are confirmed in writing before you pay anything — if you are not sure, contact us and we will tell you before you commit.
Refunds are made back to the same card or account you paid with, and are governed by the cancellation terms of your specific booking, which we confirm to you in writing before payment. How quickly the money appears on your statement depends on your own bank. If you need to cancel or change a booking, contact us as early as possible — the earlier you tell us, the more options we usually have.
