Maniva is great for beginners looking for a ski resort that is conveniently close to the airport and offers fantastic accommodation. The 40 km of slopes are easily accessible and surrounded by beautiful views, with 8 blue runs, 6 reds and 1 black, fed by 8 lifts (three chairlifts, three magic carpets and two drag lifts). There is also a snowpark and a 3km cross country track. This compact resort is ideal for families with young children who want to go skiing and enjoy the snowpark. Everything is located in one place including some great places for a bite to eat at competitive prices. The resort maybe small but there are no queues for the ski lifts (at least during the week) and the scenery is spectacular. Après Ski Being a small, purpose built resort there is not much in the way of après ski, it is ideal for those who want to ski all day and then relax at the hotel spa and restaurant in the evenings.
