Great Value Spa Break in Abano Terme near Venice Italy at 4* Hotel and Spa Resort

Abano Terme is a charming spa town close to Padua in northern Italy, just under an hour from Venice. There have been thermal baths in the area since Roman times and the area has remained a popular spa resort ever since.

Aside from the cathedral and the Montirone gallery there is little on offer in terms of sightseeing, so if you get fed up of wallowing in the thermal waters (unlikely) then Padua, just ten minutes away by car, is worth a visit. Here there are a number of places to visit for art and history buffs, including the Scrovegni chapel home to a cycle of frescos by Giotto, the Basilica of St. Anthony and the Palazzo della Ragione. Otherwise just go for a wander through the porticoes of the town centre and enjoy an ice cream or a coffee in one of its many cafes.

It goes without saying that if you have time a visit to Venice is a must. You can get a train and be there in forty minutes.

Refugio della Quiete
A space designed for rest and relaxation. This Refuge of Serenity is connected to the Veranda pool through a heated glass tunnel, as well as being connected to the Pavilion pool through an underground tunnel. It includes 40 different seat options from loungers, to water mattresses, hammocks and rocking chairs.

The team at the 'Tea Rose' Beauty centre and Hammam are ready to welcome you with a rheumatologist, dermatologist, physiotherapist, masseurs and gym instructors all on site. By Car
Take Viale Galileo Galilei/SS14 to the A27. From here move onto the A57. Continue for 13miles before merging onto the A4/E70. Exit at Padova Ovest to the SR47. Turn left onto Direttissima per Abano Terme and head to SP2. Continue to Via Marzia and the hotel is on the left.

By Public Transport
Make your way from the airport to Padova train station, take the bus for Abano Terme indicated A, M, AT or T (every 20mins), the bus stop is called Abano Terme Piazza Sacro Cuore. If you make your way from the airport to Terme Euganee-Abano-Montegrotto train station, take the bus M for Abano Terme (every 40mins), bus stop is called Abano Terme Piazza Sacro Cuore.
