This is a great short break with a difference. Rather than stay on land, stay on board a catamaran and discover the Dalmatian coast, Dubrovnik, the Elaphiti islands and Mljet Island National Park. Organised excursions include walking, cycling, paddleboarding and kayaking as well as swimming and snorkelling. Friendly dolphins can often be spotted swimming alongside the boat! ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival, Lopud and Sipan islands
After boarding and a short safety demonstration set sail for Lopud island. Go for a stroll and a snack then continue on the Sipan island. Enjoy a spectacular sunset and dinner (not included). Anchor in one of the most scenic bays on the island for the night.
Day 2: Mljet island and Peljesac peninsula
Set sail for Mljet island national park, a fantastic location for kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, cycling and swimming. In late afternoon sail towards the Peljesac peninsula and anchor in a quiet bay near Zuljana Village.
Day 3: Peljesac peninsula
Spend the morning paddling, snorkelling and swimming in Zuljana bay, then sail east towards Broce and Ston. Cycle to the lovely little town of Ston and explore the area before returning to Broce for the night.
Day 4: Elafiti islands, departure
Sail east between the Elafiti islands. Return to port and disembark.
Note on the itinerary:
Depending on if you are on a midweek or weekend departure (see boarding times above), you will also visit Kolocep island for swimming and paddleboarding, either on the first day on the last day.

Nearest Airport: Dubrovnik Airport Other airports: Split airport You need to make your own way to the base in Komolac on the outskirts of Dubrovnik, from where you will be transferred to the catamaran. We recommend that you stay the night before in Dubrovnik to ensure that you are able to board in plenty of time. Start time: 10 am for Saturday, Sunday and Monday departures, 2 pm for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday departures. End time: 12 noon for Saturday and Sunday departures, 4 pm for Tuesday and Wednesday departures. You will receive full check-in information after booking.
LOCATION
In recent years Dubrovnik has become one of the hottest destinations in the Mediterranean and it’s not hard to understand why. Its historic streets and grand baroque palaces, surrounded by ancient city walls and set against the backdrop of the Adriatic Sea on one side and Mount Sdrj on the other, give it an unmistakable appeal. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, damage caused by sustained artillery attacks on the city during the war in the Balkans in the 1990s was repaired in the original style and the city was restored to its original splendour, with its characteristic red terracotta rooftops and limestone streets. Popular attractions include the 2km long city walls, which you can walk along in around an hour; the Sponza palace, originally built as customs house in 1516 it now functions as the State Archive; the Cathedral; and Stradun, the city’s main thoroughfare where you will find throngs of locals and tourists throughout the day. Lokrum Island is a 15-minute boat ride from the old town harbour; as well as many peaceful coves it also boasts a Botanical Garden and a Benedictine Monastery. Around one hour by boat from Dubrovnik you can find the Elafiti islands, an archipelago offering great opportunities for hiking, lovely beaches, superb seafood, fantastic snorkelling and beautiful sunsets. What more could you want from your summer holiday? The largest island is Sipan, where you will be based for a lot of your stay. It has a population of around 430 inhabitants. With its quiet bays, beaches, cypress trees, groves of orange and lemon trees it is a true haven from city life. The island is small enough to get around easily by bike an you will quickly adapt to the slow pace of life here. Second in size and best known for its sandy beaches, Lopud is completely free of motorised traffic. The island was once full of summer residences of the aristocracy, and there are several well-preserved medieval churches and fortresses dotted around. Kolocep is closest to Dubrovnik and is a popular day trip destination. It is one of the best locations for sea kayaking in the archipelago, and you may even spot some dolphins!
