Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival
Arrive at Dubrovnik airport, harbour or bus station, transfer to Sipan island, your base for the duration of your stay. Enjoy the afternoon exploring, swimming and sunbathing.
Meal: dinner

Day 2 Elafiti islands kayaking and paddleboarding
A fantastic location for sea kayaking. Paddle out of Luka Sipanska in the morning and head west towards Jakljan, Tajan and Olipa islands. All three are uninhabited and their beaches can only be accessed from a small boat or kayak, resulting in a number of secluded beaches and excellent snorkelling opportunities.
Meal: breakfast; Sea kayaking 2-3 hours (easy)

Day 3 Cycling Sipan island
Explore the island by bike. Two villages, Luka Sipanska and Sudjuradj, are connected by a road with very little traffic, which is ideal for cycling. Visit a local hilltop farm with picturesque olive groves and the most beautiful view of the island.
Meal: breakfast; Cycling 2 hours (easy/moderate)

Day 4 Lopud island hiking
Lopud has many beautiful walking routes that take you from the shore to the top of the island and back. This island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and a fort strategically located at one of its highest points. Prepare yourself for stunning views of the Elaphiti Archipelago and Mljet Island.
Meals: breakfast and dinner; Hiking 2 hours (easy); Ferry 15 mins each way

Day 5 Optional trip day / Beach day.
Relax on the beach or join one of the optional excursions (approx. € 50 - € 60 per person, to be paid locally).

Day 6 Sightseeing in Dubrovnik
Visit the beautiful Mediterranean city of Dubrovnik. Take an optional boat ride to Lokrum, the “cursed island” near Dubrovnik with its Benedictine monastery, botanical garden, lake and fort.
Meal: breakfast; Sightseeing 3-5 hours; Ferry 1 hour each way

Day 7 Kolocep island sea kayaking and sunset sailing
Head out to Kolocep Island. The island’s cliffs, caves, coves and beaches, accessible only from the sea, make it Croatia’s best sea kayaking island. Snorkeling gear will be provided. In the afternoon, a catamaran will take you on a sunset sailing trip around the area, you may even spot some dolphins! Return to Sipanska Luka in the evening for a farewell dinner
Meals: breakfast and dinner; Sea kayaking 3 hours (easy/moderate); Sailing 2 hours; Ferry 1 hour

In recent years Dubrovnik has become one of the hottest destinations in the Mediterranean and it’s not hard to understand why. Its historic streets and grand baroque palaces, surrounded by ancient city walls and set against the backdrop of the Adriatic Sea on one side and Mount Sdrj on the other, give it an unmistakable appeal.

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, damage caused by sustained artillery attacks on the city during the war in the Balkans in the 1990s was repaired in the original style and the city was restored to its original splendour, with its characteristic red terracotta rooftops and limestone streets.

Popular attractions include the 2km long city walls, which you can walk along in around an hour; the Sponza palace, originally built as customs house in 1516 it now functions as the State Archive; the Cathedral; and Stradun, the city’s main thoroughfare where you will find throngs of locals and tourists throughout the day. Lokrum Island is a 15-minute boat ride from the old town harbour; as well as many peaceful coves it also boasts a Botanical Garden and a Benedictine Monastery.

Around one hour by boat from Dubrovnik you can find the Elafiti islands, an archipelago offering great opportunities for hiking, lovely beaches, superb seafood, fantastic snorkelling and beautiful sunsets. What more could you want from your summer holiday?

The largest island is Sipan, where you will be based for a lot of your stay. It has a population of around 430 inhabitants. With its quiet bays, beaches, cypress trees, groves of orange and lemon trees it is a true haven from city life. The island is small enough to get around easily by bike an you will quickly adapt to the slow pace of life here.

Second in size and best known for its sandy beaches, Lopud is completely free of motorised traffic. The island was once full of summer residences of the aristocracy, and there are several well-preserved medieval churches and fortresses dotted around.

Kolocep is closest to Dubrovnik and is a popular day trip destination. It is one of the best locations for sea kayaking in the archipelago, and you may even spot some dolphins!
