Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival to Lopud Island
Your adventure begins in Gruz harbour with a group meeting at 4 pm. There are later options available, but arrival in Dubrovnik after 6 pm may mean missing the last boat to the island. Upon your arrival to the island, we will transfer you to Sipanska Luka and your accommodation. Once you’ve settled in, we’ll suggest some easy walks for your first day.
Feel free to shape your day—whether unwinding on the beach, enjoying a meal at one of the locally-owned restaurants, or immersing yourself in the local culture. You can discover the communal spirit through the game of bocce ball, a beloved pastime in this area. Witness or join locals gathering each evening for a friendly game, highlighting the warmth that defines Sipan.
Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska; Ferry: 1.15 hours

Day 2 Sipan Island SUP
Today we will go to Sudurad, named after St. George, the patron saint. From there, we will take our stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) and start paddling from a tranquil beach offering stunning views of Lopud Island. If weather permits, we'll even visit Sipan's green cave. To reach Sudurad, we'll either bike or take organized transportation. After our SUP adventure, those interested can enjoy lunch in Sudurad, go biking, or hike to the top St. Trinity, which offers a view of the whole inside of the island.
Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Sipan; Meals: B; SUP: 2 hours, moderat

Day 3 Sipan Island Cycling
Sudjurad and Luka Sipanska, only two remaining villages on the island, are connected by a quiet road ideal for cycling. You will go through olive groves and old villas from the Dubrovnik Republic. Fun fact: Sipan is in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most olive trees for its size. The island is quiet and has low traffic, so you will be able to peacefully cycle through its roads, exploring untouched nature, hidden churches and stop at the locals offering oil, wine and cake tasting.
Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska. Meals: B. Cycling: 2 hours, easy/moderat

Day 4 Visit Dubrovnik or Hike Kolocep
Visit Dubrovnik, the most beautiful of all Mediterranean towns, for sightseeing, shopping in ancient streets, and walking along city walls. Ice cream or coffee taste best in open air bistros along Stradun, Old Town’s main street and promenade. Take an optional boat ride to Lokrum, the "cursed island" near Dubrovnik with its Benedictine monastery, botanical garden, small lake popularly known as the "Dead Sea" and Fort Royal Castle.
For those planning to stay in Dubrovnik before or after the tour, we suggest visiting Kolocep island. Interesting for its dramatic scenery with rocky beaches, high cliffs, turquoise bays and colorful reefs, Kolocep offers a great getaway. There are no cars on this tiny island so the walk through the villages will be very enjoyable. On your walk across the island you will encounter many architectural remnants, witnesses of the turbulent history of the area: an old pre-Romantic chapel, ruins of a basilica, summer homes of Dubrovnik nobility, Napoelon’s fort, and more.
Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska; Meals: B; Swimming, Walking and sightseeing, easy; Ferry: 1.15 hours to Dubrovnik/ 40 minutes to Kolocep each w

Day 5 Lopud Island Hiking
Today we will explore the nearby Lopud Island. Lopud has many beautiful walking routes that take one from the shore to the top of the island and back. This island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and an ancient fort strategically located at one of its highest points. In the past it served as an observation point and was used to protect the island’s safety. Descend to the natural sand beach Sunj for a relaxing day, where you can visit seaside restaurants with a sea swing and hammocks nestled in the forest—an ideal place to enjoy a drink in the island’s tranquillity.
Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska; Meals: B, D; Walking: 2-3 h, easy; Ferry: 15 min each way

Day 6 Elaphiti Islands Sea Kayaking and Afternoon Sailing
The Elaphiti Islands are a paradise for sea kayaking and snorkelling. We set out from Luka Sipanska, paddling west towards Jakljan, Tajan, and Olipa islands. These islands offer hidden beaches indented coastlines, perfect for exploration. All three are uninhabited and their beaches can only be accessed from a small boat or kayak, resulting in several secluded beaches and a rich, undisturbed underwater world.
In the afternoon, a catamaran will take us on a sailing trip around the area. Occasionally our boat is met by friendly dolphin as we enjoy the sun setting over the Elaphiti. Return to Sipanska Luka in the late afternoon/evening.
Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska; Meals: B, D; Sea Kayaking: 2-3 hours, easy; Sailing: 2-3 hours, easy

Day 7 Optional Trip or Beach Day
Spend a relaxing day on Sipan's beautiful beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, or kayak. You can also join one of our optional trips optional adventures suggested on the spot by our team based on availability. Please be aware that any additional trips chosen on the spot will have separate fees, payable locally. Enjoy this peaceful end to your week of adventure. Use this time to relax before heading home or continue your vacation.
Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska. Meals: B.

In recent years Dubrovnik has become one of the hottest destinations in the Mediterranean and it’s not hard to understand why. Its historic streets and grand baroque palaces, surrounded by ancient city walls and set against the backdrop of the Adriatic Sea on one side and Mount Sdrj on the other, give it an unmistakable appeal.

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, damage caused by sustained artillery attacks on the city during the war in the Balkans in the 1990s was repaired in the original style and the city was restored to its original splendour, with its characteristic red terracotta rooftops and limestone streets.

Popular attractions include the 2km long city walls, which you can walk along in around an hour; the Sponza palace, originally built as customs house in 1516 it now functions as the State Archive; the Cathedral; and Stradun, the city’s main thoroughfare where you will find throngs of locals and tourists throughout the day. Lokrum Island is a 15-minute boat ride from the old town harbour; as well as many peaceful coves it also boasts a Botanical Garden and a Benedictine Monastery.

Around one hour by boat from Dubrovnik you can find the Elafiti islands, an archipelago offering great opportunities for hiking, lovely beaches, superb seafood, fantastic snorkelling and beautiful sunsets. What more could you want from your summer holiday?

The largest island is Sipan, where you will be based for a lot of your stay. It has a population of around 430 inhabitants. With its quiet bays, beaches, cypress trees, groves of orange and lemon trees it is a true haven from city life. The island is small enough to get around easily by bike an you will quickly adapt to the slow pace of life here.

Second in size and best known for its sandy beaches, Lopud is completely free of motorised traffic. The island was once full of summer residences of the aristocracy, and there are several well-preserved medieval churches and fortresses dotted around.

Kolocep is closest to Dubrovnik and is a popular day trip destination. It is one of the best locations for sea kayaking in the archipelago, and you may even spot some dolphins!
